Arto Brick introduces “Stone Born” collection: modern tile design inspired by ancient meta-quartzite

GARDENA, CA – October 7, 2025 – Arto Brick, widely known for their handcrafted tiles and commitment to natural materials, has released the stunning “Stone Born” collection. This new tile line combines the natural beauty of meta-quartzite stone with modern design flexibility, offering endless possibilities for homes and projects.

The meta-quartzite stone used in the collection is sourced from the Rainbow Quarry near Las Vegas, Nevada, a site whose materials have been featured in notable architectural projects since the 1930s.

“I first became interested in the beautiful excess stone at the Rainbow Quarry years ago, and that initial spark led directly to the Stone Born collection,” said Armen Alajian, CEO at Arto Brick. “The natural variation in color and texture reminds me of our signature Normandy Cream blend.”

The Stone Born Collection offers tiles in three rich colors: Vesper, Glow, and Sundrift. They are available in three honed sizes: 4 x 12, 2 x 12, and 4 x 4. All standard tiles are ½ inch thick. Special Order finish options include Leathered, Polished, Windswept + Sealed, and Honed + Sealed. Architectural pieces and slabs are also available for special order.
