Meet the Team

Bart Bettiga

Publisher

Bart Bettiga is the Executive Director of the National Tile Contractors Association and Publisher of TileLetter. Bettiga is a member of the Board of Governors of Coverings, one the largest tradeshows in North America. He has over 30 years of experience in the tile and stone industry and has served as the NTCA Executive Director since 2002. He is a well known speaker and author on ceramic tile and natural stone distribution and installation. He oversees the financial operations of the NTCA, TileLetter and the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation.

Lesley A. Goddin

Editorial Director and Senior Writer

Lesley Goddin has been writing and journaling since her first diary at age 11. Her journey has taken her through a career in publishing and publicity, landing her the editor position of TileLetter and its special publications in 2006. Her goal is to educate, inspire, recognize and encourage those in the tile industry -- especially the tile and stone contractor. Other interests include the soft, purring marvels known as cats, labyrinth walking, drumming and percussion, and a range of spiritual, musical and artistic pursuits.

Michelle Chapman

Art Director

Michelle is a graphic designer, self-proclaimed interior decorator and all-around mushy mom. Her love for graphic design was born from her passion for creating art in any form, whether in print, digital or refurbishing something old and making it new again within her home. Since 2000, Michelle has married typography and photography to create marketing pieces for the National Tile Contractors Association and TileLetter magazine. When she’s not designing, she’s spending time with her two amazing teenagers, step-momming her awesome three grown children, junk store shopping with her hubby, or lighting candles and rearranging furniture.

Mary Shaw-Olson

Advertising & Sales

Mary Shaw-Olson, joined the NTCA in 2009 in print and digital advertising sales. Prior to her career in the tile and stone industry, Mary’s resume includes teaching, sales, and freelance writing. Her degree in Theater Arts inspires Mary to write in her spare time for theater and film. Other information: Married: husband – Jim Olson; daughters, Kelly, Megan and Jenny.
