Florim USA’s MILE®stone brand is continuing its mission to give a voice to the American design community with the next chapter in its Stories collection. Chapter 4 will feature a collaboration with Nicole Jordan, Design Director at PBK in Houston, Texas. The new collection will debut in spring 2026 with an official reveal at Coverings in Las Vegas.
The Stories concept by MILE®stone celebrates creativity and collaboration within the American design community. Each chapter introduces a new designer’s perspective—translating their ideas and design philosophy into a distinctive porcelain tile collection that reflects MILE®stone’s commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and storytelling through design.

As one of the leaders of PBK’s Houston Design Studio, Jordan has contributed to a wide range of sectors, including civic, workplace, and aviation projects. In educational design, she helps shape learning environments that inspire and empower students across Texas—Jordan believes good design should be equitable and inclusive. Guided by this belief, her work emphasizes wellness, safety, and flexibility.
These principles also shape her Stories Chapter 4 concept, which takes a biophilic approach, bringing nature into the built space to create a sense of peace, calm, and connection.
The MILE®stone Stories platform originated from the brand’s Design Advisory Council (DAC), a group of distinguished designers selected for their insight and influence in the design community. Each year, members submit collection concepts for consideration. From these submissions, one concept is selected for development in collaboration with the MILE®stone design team.
Previous collaborations have included Jennifer Farris of Bandura Design for the Bestow™ collection (Chapter 1), Michele McMinn of Gresham Smith for the Imprint collection (Chapter 2), and Sarah Rink of Design Cooperative, LLC in Jacksonville, Florida, for the Untamed™ collection (Chapter 3).
“We believe in co-creation and are always excited to unite our industry in celebrating the latest in design and trends” said Florim USA President and CEO Rodolfo Panisi. With Stories: Chapter 4, MILE®stone and Nicole Jordan continue to expand the Stories concept—exploring how thoughtful design can elevate the spaces where we learn, live, and connect.
