Portobello America’s ‘Living Home’ campaign sets the stage for an elaborate new era of surface design at Coverings 2026

Coverings 2026 will serve as the stage for Portobello America to debut its Living Home campaign and introduce a significant new lineup of highly elaborate, intricately crafted collections. Rooted in the understanding that spaces are alive and must remain flexible as people and the world transform, Living Home reflects an intentional approach to the built environment. As daily routines and spatial needs evolve, design must respond accordingly, supporting these shifts while maintaining a foundation of warmth, balance, and authenticity.

Reflecting Portobello America’s long-term commitment to translating the beauty of nature into contemporary design and technology, the 2026 portfolio embraces a highly curated, elevated approach to surface development. This philosophy anchors the debut of a cohesive surface system comprising eight new collections and an expansive portfolio of over 200 curated surfaces, articulated through three distinct design narratives:

  • The Natural Language of Nature—collections that translate the beauty of nature into contemporary surface design through refined aesthetics, development guided by global design forecasting and innovation-led finishes and systems.
  • Where Design Turns into Art—collections that treat the surface as a composition, enabling personalization and creative freedom through contrast, tactility, rhythm, and detail across floors, walls, and architectural moments.
  • The Design that Belongs—collections built as core, trend-relevant foundations with enduring appeal, bringing versatile material languages that consistently perform across diverse projects, applications, and design directions.

Across all launches, Portobello America is also expanding its surface system with a massive mosaic program and 3D relief profiles integrated into every collection. Functioning as essential architectural design tools rather than mere decorative accessories, these raised, tactile elements enable composition, rhythm, and articulated detail, translating today’s design movements.

Central to this expanded system is a rigorous focus on small formats. Conceived as precision tools for designers and distributor partners, these smaller proportions encourage structural creativity and are designed to mix and match seamlessly across every new collection launching in 2026. They are expressly engineered to enable fluid transitions, define feature moments, and build layered environments, offering exact control over the final architectural finish.

Portobello America invites visitors “home” at booth 4423. Trade professionals, distributor partners, and the architecture and design community are invited to experience the Living Home campaign and the complete 2026 surface system at Coverings 2026, taking place March 30–April 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
