Showing off their creativity and craftsmanship, 13 members of the Tile Council of North America, Inc. (TCNA) donated custom, handmade tiled doghouses—each a one-of-a-kind demonstration of tile design—to benefit Michael’s Angel Paws at Coverings 2026 in Las Vegas.
The participating companies include:

The forms used to make the doghouses were custom manufactured and contributed by Wedi Corp. (booth #4473) using installation materials donated by LATICRETE (booth #4459) and ARDEX (booth #4372).
“We are beyond thankful to participate in this event and receive a donation that will strengthen our programs by helping fund our service- and therapy-dog scholarships,” stated Emily Villarreal, CEO of Michael’s Angel Paws. “Every donation Michael’s Angel Paws receives goes back into our local community to help individuals live a life of independence with a four-legged friend by their side.”
During Coverings, the doghouses will be displayed in TCNA’s booth (#4238), where a donation ceremony will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1.
“Bringing this program back to Coverings gives us a chance to celebrate both the creativity of our members and the impact tile can have beyond traditional applications,” noted TCNA Marketing Director Kathy Meyer. “Each doghouse tells a story of craftsmanship and generosity, and we’re proud to partner with Michael’s Angel Paws to support the incredible work they’re doing in the Las Vegas community.”

Kayu V-Wood wall cladding, crafted from reclaimed Indonesian teak, brings warmth and character with its layered, weathered wood tones and dimensional relief. Spindrift marble tiles introduce an organic element, with smooth, pebble-shaped stones in soft gray veining that echo the beauty of naturally worn river rock.
Completing the design, Lava Glass mosaics add a cool, contemporary accent—their iridescent, undulating surfaces catching and reflecting light to create depth and subtle movement.
Rooted in Island Stone’s heritage of sourcing distinctive natural materials and celebrating artisanal craftsmanship, the design reflects the brand’s enduring connection to nature, texture, and timeless design.
Jeffrey Court (booth #4415)

Designed as a playful tribute to the sparkle and spectacle of Las Vegas, Jeffrey Court’s tiled doghouse brings together timeless natural stone and a bold pattern to create a miniature architectural statement that feels both luxurious and fun. Chapter 10 Eternal’s 10″ x 20″ Nossa Norwegian field tiles (22120) and Curtsy mosaic (22141) and Aristocrat mosaic (22159), both in Debutante, form the striking facade, with their warm veining and soft blush tones evoking the glitz of vintage Vegas interiors and the elegant finishes found in classic casinos and resorts.
At the peak, a sparkling monogram adds a playful nod to the bright marquee lights that define the city’s iconic skyline.
To balance the bold pattern above, Chapter 17 Marmo Viaggio’s 6″ x 24″ fluted field tile in Thassos wraps the lower portion of the structure, introducing a sense of architectural rhythm reminiscent of grand hotel columns and Art Deco details. The crisp white marble texture contrasts beautifully with the expressive stone above, while a Chapter 7 cubist dome in Thassos (72068) frames the opening with a soft, refined profile that completes the look.
Designed by Megan Weintraub and expertly installed by Elsa Vega and Maria Huato, the doghouse celebrates the craftsmanship and imagination of the Jeffrey Court team, proving that even a doghouse can channel a little Las Vegas glamour.

Panariagroup USA (booth #6250)

The tile used for Panariagroup’s doghouse came from Florida Tile’s Claymont collection. Claymont by Florida Tile reinterprets the enduring beauty of handmade terracotta with a fresh, modern sensibility. Its soft, matte finish mirrors the natural patina of hand-molded tiles.
Subtle cement-plaster relief structures enhance its tactile depth, evoking the weathered beauty of artisan-crafted surfaces shaped by time and care. Its rich, powdery color palette is drawn from the Earth itself, telling a story of nature’s familiar tones reimagined for modern spaces. These hues echo the landscapes that have shaped architecture for centuries.

Portobello America brings its doghouse design vision to life through its Loom collection, transforming a small-scale structure into an expressive architectural statement with a thoughtful mix of color and texture.
The installation features Loom 6″ x 6″ in Umber on the roof and Loom Warp 2″ x 10″ in Ecru on the exterior walls, highlighting the collection’s ability to transform color into a tactile, sensorial experience.
Inspired by handcrafted textiles and the rustic beauty of woven fibers, Loom introduces a matte, textured surface with a subtle grit effect, bringing warmth and personality to the little home these dogs will call their own. The interplay of formats and tones creates rhythm and contrast, showing how even a playful structure can embody refined architectural thinking.
Through its Relief and Warp expressions, Loom creates a balance between boldness and restraint, offering expressive texture alongside quiet continuity.
Winsor Fireform (booth #4621)

Winsor Fireform brought a little Las Vegas to Coverings with a doghouse designed to look playful but built to handle conditions far more demanding than the Vegas sun.
“Paws Vegas” pairs porcelain enamel on steel with precision-cut tile to create a fully permanent graphic system. Every surface begins as original artwork, then is translated into porcelain enamel and tile with exact color matching and full photographic fidelity. The woodgrain exterior is not wood; it is photorealistic tile, kiln-fired with deep color saturation and detail that will not fade, even under relentless UV exposure. In other words, this pup stays cool while everything else starts to bake.
The iconic front sign and roof panels are porcelain enamel on steel, delivering a gloss and depth that reads more like glass than print. These steel elements are not applied as an afterthought but are engineered to integrate directly with the tile field, allowing dimensional features, signage, and focal elements to interlock seamlessly with surrounding tile murals. The result is a level of visual depth and material contrast that cannot be achieved with tile or steel alone.
Stainless steel corner guards add structure and durability, while matte black tile at the entry creates a clean architectural threshold.
On the back, custom waterjet-cut tile bones and tennis balls add a bit of personality and prove a point. Every detail, from the largest panel to the smallest cut element, is fabricated to last. This is not a novelty piece. It is a demonstration of what happens when original artwork is carried through to a truly permanent medium. Thirty years from now, this doghouse will still look showroom-new, long after the desert sun has done its worst.
