Following a rigorous evaluation process led by a supervisory committee and informed by feedback from Ceramics of Italy member companies, this year, GENROSE Stone + Tile was selected for its decades of excellence and its role as a vital bridge between Italian manufacturers and the North American architectural and design community. Formerly known as Ferazzoli Imports, the family-owned company has distinguished itself through a legacy of craftsmanship dating back to its inception in 1988, driven by founding principles of quality and long-term commitment.
“This recognition is incredibly meaningful to us, as both of our parents were born in Italy,” said Roseann Alwang, President of GENROSE Stone + Tile, who attributes her work ethic and lifelong passion for high-quality products to her father, who worked as a master furniture craftsman.
The decision to grant the 2026 award reflects a consensus recognizing the company’s exceptional service standards, its forward-thinking growth mindset, and its consistent success in maintaining deep-rooted relationships with Italian manufacturers, many of which have spanned over 30 years.
Today, the company continues to thrive as a recognized authority on tile and stone trends, backed by a dedicated team of 277 employees. Headquartered in Middletown, Conn., with 13 showrooms throughout New England and New York, GENROSE remains committed to anticipating client needs and nurturing trusted relationships with architects, designers, and contractors. The company’s overall turnover in 2025 reached $65 million, with ceramic tiles accounting for 45% of that total sales volume.
