Island Stone & Tile’s new Tempo collection is designed around how texture, light, and form come together to shape a space

Inspired by the dimensionality of Island Stone & Tile’s Dimensions collection and the tactile richness of its Textures collection, Tempo brings these worlds together refined through a more contemporary, architectural lens.

At the heart of the collection are two distinct expressions:

  • Contoura: a multi-fluted design that introduces soft movement and vertical rhythm, capturing light across its surface in a way that feels both dynamic and grounded.
  • Serenity: a multi-line, stepped pattern that evokes calm through repetition, offering a more linear, structured interpretation of texture.

Crafted in a palette of Crystal White, Sandstone Mint, Jade Noir, and Sutra Black, and realized in natural materials including marble, sandstone, and slate, each piece is designed to bring depth, contrast, and a sense of quiet luxury to the built environment.

About Island Stone & Tile

Island Stone & Tile invented mesh-mounted pebble tiles in a garage in Bali and has been perfecting natural surfaces across ceramic, glass, porcelain, and stone ever since. What started as a wild idea between surfer friends has evolved into a manufacturer and distributor sourcing excellent materials—ceramic, glass, porcelain, and stone from remote Indonesia—and working with partners worldwide to create beautiful spaces. The company believes that innovation means nothing without accessibility and therefore works to be the easiest company to do business with.
