The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) has formed a formal collaboration with the Tile Association of New Zealand (TANZ), the largest trade association for the tile industry in New Zealand. This strategic new affiliation marks a significant step in NTCA’s commitment to advancing tile industry standards, education, and professional development globally.
The partnership—which builds upon NTCA’s existing collaboration with the Australian Tile Council—connects two of the industry’s leading organizations to foster a more cohesive and supportive global tile community. By sharing knowledge, research, and best practices, NTCA and TANZ aim to elevate installation procedures and raise standards to ensure the highest quality results for end users.
“We are excited to formalize this affiliation with TANZ,” said Jeremy Sax, Deputy Executive Director of NTCA. “Our goals align perfectly—both organizations are dedicated to promoting education, training, and professional excellence. By working together, we can share invaluable research and educational resources that will benefit our members and the broader construction industry.”
Through this collaboration, both associations will serve as affiliated members, supporting one another’s objectives and promoting the use of tile as a premier building option. The partnership will include:
- Resource sharing: Collaboration on educational materials, including the exchange of technical guides and installation best practices.
- Industry support: A mutual commitment to cross-promote initiatives that support professional growth and industry confidence.
- Enhanced connectivity: Providing members of both organizations with broader access to industry insights, research findings, and networking opportunities across the Pacific.
“TANZ is delighted to be affiliated with the NTCA,” said Chief Executive Brendon Manson. “We share a common vision for the industry, and we look forward to a partnership that will provide a cohesive pathway for successful construction processes and greater exposure for the tile industry.”
This collaboration reinforces NTCA’s mission to support contractors through education and peer interaction, ensuring that professionals have the skills and knowledge needed to manage successful, profitable businesses.
