APE Grupo presents delicate collections with a high artisanal component at Coverings

Ceramics with traditional flavor, comprehensive solutions for bathrooms, large-format porcelain pieces, and designer creations; these are just a few of the diverse offerings APE Grupo is showcasing in the United States. The ceramic company is exhibiting with all its brands: APE best of you, Carmen, XLINING, and Ilbagno. Visit APE Grupo's booth at the Spanish Pavilion, booth 1945.

APE Grupo, a European leader in the design and marketing of ceramic products, reaffirms its commitment to the North American market by unveiling new collections and design proposals at the Coverings trade show. The company will be participating in the largest specialized ceramic trade fair in the United States, held in Atlanta from April 22nd to
25th, accessible at booth 1945 within the Spanish Pavilion.

Throughout the event, APE Grupo will showcase all its brands: Ilbagno, its innovative
offering providing comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions with unlimited
customization; XLINING, the large-format porcelain; Carmen, the decorative ceramic
with small pieces, and APE best of you.

One of its significant highlights for this edition of Coverings is the collections crafted in
small ceramic formats with a strong artisanal flavor under the Carmen brand. This
delicate product is deeply rooted in tradition and exudes a natural character.

At this American trade fair, visitors will encounter a wide range of hues, ranging from the
most natural tones to vibrant colors where the vivid glaze of the glazed tiles is unique.
Desaturated tones, crackled effects, intense gloss, natural clays, and some volumes—all
are common denominators of APE Grupo’s offerings. For instance, the Genuine
collection by Carmen is an artisanal collection where each piece is unique, and its
graphics are designed to evoke tonal changes, reproducing the visual effects of ceramics baked at low temperatures in ancient artisanal kilns.

Another significant highlight is the Mud collection, a range of natural ceramics inspired by traditional fired clay, this time in glazed form. It’s timeless ceramics speaking with an
authentic material language, in a rectangular format, 7.5×30 cm, and available in eight
different colors.

Continuing with the Mediterranean tradition, the Faenza series, named after an Italian
city where potters used fine earthenware, a technique known for giving a vitreous effect
to ceramic products. APE Grupo revives this technique and develops a collection with a
highly glossy finish, almost unique and unusual, available in various formats and several
intense colors.

Pukka is a lining in 6.4×26 cm characterized by the material expressiveness of traditional
ceramic glazing. They are irregular pieces, each distinct in both morphology and tonality.
It’s hard to tell whether it’s the passage of time or the technique used. With tremendous
visual liveliness, it’s an imperfect beauty.

The fair will also introduce the Antico Casale collection, a large-format flooring inspired
by the artisanal work of 13th-century Montelupo Fiorentino in Tuscany, Italy. In four
natural colors—cotto, ecru, cenere, and graphite—these pieces, sized at 120×120 cm and
120X60 cm, bring visual spaciousness to spaces.
