Cersaie to organize an area devoted to start-ups in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency ITA

At the upcoming Cersaie to be held in Bologna from 23 to 27 September 2024, visitors will have the opportunity to gain a unique insight into the future of real estate by meeting the founders of five innovative start-ups and SMEs. These companies are all committed to sustainability and specialise in product categories spanning home automation, lighting technology, outdoor elements, bathroom furniture, wellness products, doors, windows, stairs and kitchens.

The Start-Up Area will be located in a 96-square-metre space in the Mall of Hall 37 in the Bologna Exhibition Centre. Each start-up will have a booth to display its products and technology solutions.

The 5 start-ups present in Mall 37 are:

  • TK1FIRE (Semproniano, GR),  which produces water-free toilets;
  • REKO2 (Pontecorvo, FR), which uses an innovative patented low-temperature process to produce outdoor paving from totally recycled materials;
  • TAUA (Bologna), which has patented an air quality monitoring system;
  • TRAILS LIGHT (Bologna), which has developed a remote lighting control system;
  • SNAPALL BY TIMELAPSELAB (Mantua), which has developed software that remotely monitors rooms and buildings by means of an IP camera, automatically blurring sensitive data in the images.

The Start-Up Area promoted by the Italian Trade Agency ITA in collaboration with Edi.Cer. S.p.A. falls within the scope of the agreement between the two organisations for the promotion of Cersaie 2024.
