Speakers include judges, attorneys, claims personnel and experts. CTaSC has many years’ experience in the industry, including past chairmanship of the Ceramic Tile Institute of America technical committee, membership in the Natural Stone Institute (NSI), formerly the Marble Institute of America (MIA), the ASTM C18 Stone committee, ANSI A108 and ISO TC189 committees, TTMAC Tile Terrazzo Marble Association of Canada, NTCA Technical  Committee, and Tile Council of North America (TCNA) Handbook committee. All these entities set the industry standards for ceramic, glass and stone tiles. 

Both Vince and Donato have experience as installers and have California Contractor C54 Tile Installer licenses, as well as experience as a distributor and importer, and as a manufacturers of tiles and installation products for ceramic tile and stone.   CTaSC has been referred for inspections, investigations, expert witness services, and other consulting services by Tile Council of North America (TCNA), National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA), Natural Stone Institute (NSI), Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), and other industry organizations.

Both men are Certified Tile Consultants (CTC), a Certified Tile Specialist (CTS), a Certified Stone Specialist (CSS). Donato is a Certified Construction Document Technologist (CDT), a Certified Microbial Remediator (CMR), and a NTCA Recognized Consultant, with a biochemistry education background with a MBA degree.  He founded the University of Ceramic Tile and Stone (www.UofCTS.org) and has over 40 years’ experience within the industry and over 22 years as an investigator and expert witness who has worked on hundreds of cases in North America.

Vince has worked as a forensic investigator for over 10 years and has worked in the industry for 20 years in various roles. CTaSC associates are seasoned and licensed tile installers, architects and engineers, making them effective investigators with substantial credentials. 

The CTaSC staff includes: a forensic architect with many years of experience; a CA Licensed Swimming Pool and Spa contractor, who is IPSSA Certified; a FCITS Certified Flooring and Hard Surface Master Inspector for Residential and Commercial applications. The service performs wood flooring inspections and investigations.
