Daltile launches new spring 2021 natural stone slabs

Dallas, TX – April 7, 2021Daltile is currently launching two new additions, Bravo Preto and Pegasus White, into the brand’s extra-large natural stone slab offering.  New Bravo Preto is a granite with a soft black background accented by active white veining, giving the illusion of movement and dynamic energy for a truly contemporary look.  An elegant quartzite, new Pegasus White features soft, sophisticated graining that appears to replicate the ripples on beach sand left by the rhythmic flow of waves.  This new natural stone slab has a modern white background with prominent, yet soft, flowing grey veining.

“In an industry where trends come and go, natural stone withstands the test of time,” said Roy Viana, director of natural stone and slab for Dal-Tile Corporation.  “Many customers still desire the REAL thing, as no other category offers the unique visuals and attributes of natural stone.  Natural stone is inherently beautiful.  Whether you are talking about marble, granite, natural quartzite, or limestone, to name a few, each type of natural stone has its own unique qualities.  Depending on the specific composition and types of minerals within a stone, the minerals create depth, unique movement, natural variation, reflective qualities, and colors that you don’t get in any other material.”

Granite

Granite has remained a sought-after classic, bringing an upscale feel to any space.  Its distinctive granular appearance is a more traditional choice for those looking for a natural stone.  The vast color offerings of granite, which include deeper hues with specks of intriguing color for a more striking look, make it an appealing option.

Natural Quartzite

A hot trend product in stone is natural quartzite.  Natural quartzites feature the luxurious look and feel of marble, with all of the benefits of greater durability and hardness.  Regarding countertops, natural quartzite continues to be the fastest growing category in natural stone for countertops.  For those seeking softer looks with more natural movements, natural quartzite is a good fit.
