At Cersaie 2026, Durstone will present a program of new products spanning different scales and expressions of ceramics: from color and relief in small formats to latticework, stone surfaces, and reflective large-format slabs. The collections will be integrated throughout the company’s space in Hall 26, Stand B31, September 21-25.
Under the concept “Ceramic Becomes Architecture,” Durstone proposes a contemporary interpretation of the Mediterranean shaped by its relationship with light, matter, and nature. Light itself acts as the connecting thread: glazes capture it, latticework filters it, stone softens it, and metallic finishes reflect it back into the space.
Color and latticework to modulate light
The Iro and Sumi collections revive the expressive potential of small formats from a contemporary perspective. Both are made from porcelain stoneware and combine a rich glaze with subtle relief, adding depth and enhancing variations in color. Iro adopts an elongated 4.8cm x 45cm (roughly 2” x 17.75”) format and a broad palette of ten colors, while Sumi comes in 5cm x 15cm (roughly 2” x 6.3”) and six shades.
Alongside them, Prisma turns ceramics into a three-dimensional element. This extruded stoneware latticework collection comprises four designs—Zero, Aro, Trix S and Trix L—for creating partitions, lightweight enclosures and visual filters both indoors and out. Its openings control incoming light and cast shadows, reviving a distinctly Mediterranean way of defining space without fully enclosing it.
Stone surfaces that preserve their memory
Stone brings a calmer, more timeless dimension to the overall composition. Within the New Classic line, Origin fuses cross-cut ivory travertine with Vicenza stone. The cloud-like patterning of the travertine combines with the textures and marine fossils of the Italian stone to create a warm, matte surface with a soft touch.
Within the Contemporary Stone line, Eternal takes San Pietro stone as its reference, a limestone of marine origin with an ivory-beige background and a clean, uniform appearance. The collection incorporates Ever Sand, a décor with raised lines that enriches the collection.
Pietra Serena interprets a marble-like stone in warm beige and ivory tones, traced with subtle veining and organic mineral nuances. Its sandblasted and bush-hammered texture adds depth to a serene, luminous, and timeless surface. The collection is completed by Porto Sand, a wall décor featuring a patchwork of stone microtextures.
Pure, meanwhile, recreates a limestone from the Istrian peninsula, characterized by gentle movement and marine inclusions. A satin application highlights selected veins and contrasts with the matte glaze. Pure is completed by a bush-hammered décor that reproduces the texture of natural stone in relief.
Together, the four collections bring the depth of stone to contemporary architecture that prioritizes visual continuity, warmth and material serenity.
Flash brings reflection to large-format surfaces
Light reaches its most intense expression in Flash, a Durslab surface in the 120cm x 280cm (roughly 47” x 110”) format, available in Silver and Copper. The collection incorporates a special coating that creates an ultra-thin, highly reflective metallic finish. Designed for residential, contract, and hospitality projects, Flash multiplies perspectives and offers a sophisticated counterpoint to matte stone, colored glazes, and latticework.
From a 5cm x 15cm piece to a 120cm x 280cm slab, Durstone will create a ceramic landscape at Cersaie in which light connects color, matter, and architecture.
