AI-powered Schedule creation and new 3D Floor Plan feature enable pros to instantly generate key project documents with greater accuracy
December 4, 2024 – Houzz Inc., the leading platform for home remodeling and design, today announced the launch of a new Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered feature for the Schedule tool in Houzz Pro, the industry’s leading all-in-one project management and design software. Pros can now use AI to generate a detailed schedule containing relevant elements from any estimate or proposal created in Houzz Pro using AutoMate AI, Houzz Pro’s suite of AI tools that are integrated directly into the software. Creating a schedule from an estimate improves accuracy and saves time by automatically creating schedule items from the key elements of any estimate.

To generate a Schedule from an Estimate or Proposal, pros simply click the “Create Schedule” button on their estimate. AutoMate AI will consider items listed in the estimate and generate a schedule that includes likely durations. Pros can then add the project start date to adjust the overall timeline and edit the schedule in any way they wish.
Also released today, pros can turn any 3D Floor Plan created in Houzz Pro into an estimate or proposal. Once the estimate or proposal is created, pros can change quantities, duplicate items or add pricing. Converting a floor plan to an estimate or proposal saves hours of work and improves efficiency by eliminating double entry for project data that’s already been entered into Houzz Pro.
