Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) announces Design Bites 2.0

Bigger, better and bolder product preview program runs on NKBA Live in January, culminating on KBIS Next Stage

(Alpharetta, Ga.) – October 13, 2022– The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), owned by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) announces a new, reinvented DesignBites program. This high-energy “speed dating for brands” initiative showcases the latest innovations and coolest designs for the kitchen and bath marketplace. It kicks off with a four-week virtual product preview series hosted on the National Kitchen and Bath channel, NKBA LIVE.

“This reinvigorated DesignBites program brings a whole new dimension to the concept,” said Suzie Williford, EVP, and Chief Strategy Officer of NKBA. “By offering brands the opportunity to plug into NKBA LIVE programming pre-show, we’re adding even more awareness and energy, leading up to the final reveal on the KBIS Next Stage.”

NKBA LIVE Virtual Programming
Up to six brands will be invited to present on the NKBA channel – NKBA Live – each week in January 2023.  This virtual opportunity gives KBIS brands a chance to preview their newest, most innovative products before the show begins.

After each segment, one winning brand will be selected via an online poll.  The final four selected brands will be reviewed by the influencer group – Designhounds – at the close of the NKBA LIVE series.  They will select one finalist who will join the line-up to present on the KBIS Next Stage, January 31, 2023, from 12:00pm – 1:15pm.

Live on the KBIS Next Stage
A total of 10 exhibiting brands will have the opportunity to tell their new, innovative product story in a three-minute presentation to the audience, utilizing three to five slides as part of their presentation.

A Q&A will follow each presentation,  conducted by a “shark” panel comprising influencers and media.

Two prizes will be awarded; 1.  to the brand with the “Biggest Bite” (most innovative product) and 2.  a People’s Pick Award (judged in real-time by the audience for their favorite or most entertaining presentation).
