TileFest 26: The TileWorks of Bucks County and Tile Heritage Foundation will co-host nationally-recognized ceramic tile festival

The TileWorks of Bucks County is proud to present TileFest ’26 Tiles of the Nationmaker, May 16 – 17, 2026.

This theme commemorates 250 years of nation makers — not the old guys with fancy wigs and feathered pens signing important documents — but the ordinary men and women throughout America’s history who built this country with axes, shovels, hammers: the real tools of the nation maker, as Henry Mercer saw them.

Vendor registration for TileFest opened yesterday, January 12th. Sign up now to receive
vendor notifications and updates. Festival hours are:

  • Saturday, May 16, 2026 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Sunday, May 17, 2026 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

TileFest: Tiles of the Nation Maker is a celebration of art tiles and the makers as guardians and records of the cultural, artistic and architectural stories of our nation and its people. The Moravian Pottery and TileWorks in Doylestown, Pa. becomes an  outdoor marketplace of contemporary, vintage, and antique tile displayed by makers and collectors from around the globe. There will be demonstrations, ceramic activities, free tours of the National Historic Landmark, local food trucks.  Woodflower will perform live Bluegrass  on Sunday.  Admission is $10.00, and is  good for both Saturday and Sunday.  All proceeds go toward historic restoration of the site.

Since 1998, TileFest has been the premier tile festival in the country. In its 26th year, this highly-anticipated event will celebrate handmade tile traditions and tilemakers. Co-hosting the event is The Tile Heritage Foundation of Healdsburg, CA, a mission-based tile organization that preserves ceramic surfaces and traditions.

TileFest is an opportunity to see the most desirable and nuanced handmade tiles in the world all in one place. Visitors can shop and meet the talented makers behind the tiles. Programming for the event is still growing.

We will be welcoming back many nationally acclaimed makers who have been at the forefront of the art tile movement for decades, and emergent  makers who will be exhibiting at TileFest for the first time. Educational and industry vendors and tile adjacent handcrafters are also part of our community.

The Artisans Revolution in Tile (A.R.T.) group creating a mosaic at TileFest 25.

Join the festival for hands-on family activities, mosaic-making and tile-setting demonstrations by the A.R.T. Artisans Revolution in Tile group, and a Tile Heritage Roundtable. The third  annual “Tile Throwdown” gives people of all ages and abilities an opportunity to make and leave a tile, with the ”best of show” displayed  at our museum in the upcoming year. A winner will  receive a free booth at the upcoming Tilefest.

We are proud to partner with our community, the larger tile community and our educational, corporate, and Art & Industry sponsors at our signature event which is now an institution. This event reaches far and wide, spreading the love of tile.
