MARMOREA is a complex project that, behind the aesthetic and performance result, involves extensive research encompassing style, surface, colors, modularity, installation patterns, combinations, and applications.
MARMOREA is a rediscovery of ancient Italian marbles in: Carrara, Nero Marquinia, Biancone, Botticino, Rosso Verona, Verde Alpi, Bardiglio. As with ancient marbles, attention is given to the softness of the material and aesthetic result. The porcelain surface is imperceptibly ‘undulated’ to confer depth and realism, and with its non-glossy, silky finish, its colors come to life remarkably well when laid and in carefully studied contrasting pairings.
The modularity of formats, which are: 24″ x 24″; 12″ x 24″; 12″ x 12″; 3″ x 12″; 4″ x 24″; 3″ x 3″; 4″ x 4″, allows for a variety of installation patterns, from classic designs such as herringbone, basket weave, staggered, or crossed patterns, to newer and entirely original layouts.
In this collection, the DOMUS AUREA decor revives an ancient mosaic design made of rhombuses and lozenges, perfect for creating inserts or entire walls with an exquisitely refined character.
The MARMOREA porcelain collection is a faithful homage to Italy’s millennial history, its ancient mansions, palaces, and churches, now representing a new classicism rich in style and destined to endure. The collection is available in both natural and grip finishes, the latter in the 24″ x 24″ format. The decorations, besides DOMUS AUREA, include a 12″ x12″ mosaic and 12″ x 13″Hexagon.
