At the center of the I.C.E. estate stands Center House, the largest and most architecturally expressive of the three structures. Once a working cattle barn, it has been reimagined as the emotional and experiential anchor of the property, where arrival becomes an event and hospitality is woven into the architecture itself.
Entering Center House, visitors are greeted by a soaring two-story volume defined by centuries-old limestone walls and restored structural posts. These historic elements frame a modern glass-encased wine cellar—a sculptural focal point that bridges past and present with effortless elegance.
Lighting plays a central role in shaping the space. Custom sculptural lightwork from Kalco, inspired by organic forms, draws the eye upward and enhances the room’s architectural drama. Throughout the space, antique brass dimmer switches from Corston offer tactile beauty, reading like tailored jewelry set against ancient stone.
The entry flows seamlessly into an intimate wine lounge adjacent to the entertainer’s kitchen, creating a natural rhythm between arrival, gathering, and celebration.
