Atlas Concorde invests in slabs, doubling production capacity and adding a new logistics center

Fiorano ModeneseAtlas Concorde announces a new phase in its wide-ranging industrial development plan, which will involve its Italian production sites in Finale Emilia and Fiorano Modenese, further strengthening the company’s leadership in the ceramic surfaces sector.

Doubling porcelain slab production

At the Finale Emilia plant, the doubling of porcelain stoneware slab production capacity will be completed by the end of 2025. This expansion will be followed in 2026 by a new logistics warehouse integrated with the plant, covering an area of 19,000 square meters (204,514.3 sq.ft). The structure will be covered by a latest-generation photovoltaic system, consisting of approximately 5,400 panels, which will reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 1,400 tonnes per year, confirming the company’s commitment to a more sustainable future.

Establishing a new logistics hub

At the same time, in Fiorano Modenese, opposite the company headquarters, a new logistics hub dedicated to porcelain stoneware slabs will take shape. With a total area of approximately 100,000 square meters (1,076,391 sq.ft.), the hub will include a highly automated and digitized logistics warehouse, one of the most advanced in the sector, designed to support the already announced doubling of production capacity.
With these investments, Atlas Concorde’s total investment in the slab sector will reach €100 million. Adding the modernization programs for the tile production lines, the company’s total investment over the last four years will exceed €170 million.
“In a context of great uncertainty and unpredictability, Atlas Concorde is looking to the future. Through this development plan, it confirms its long-term vision and its desire to position itself as a strategic, stable and reliable partner,” said Maurizio Mazzotti, CEO of Atlas Concorde.
