NTCA honors Noah Chitty with 2026 Ring of Honor Award

The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) is proud to announce Noah Chitty of Crossville/AHF Products as the recipient of the 2026 NTCA Ring of Honor Award, one of the association’s highest honors.

The Ring of Honor recognizes individuals whose leadership, service, and dedication have made a lasting impact on the tile industry. For the many people who have had the privilege of working with Chitty, the recognition represents much more than a distinguished career. It celebrates a person who has consistently shared his knowledge, supported others, built bridges across the industry, and helped make the people around him better.

“Noah has given so much of himself to this industry,” said Bart Bettiga, Executive Director of NTCA. “He is incredibly knowledgeable, but what makes Noah special is that he never makes you feel like you should already know the answer. He takes the time to explain, to teach, to listen, and to help. That generosity has touched countless people throughout our industry.”

Chitty has spent more than 25 years in the tile industry, serving in leadership roles with the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), StonePeak Ceramics, and Crossville. He currently serves as Vice President of Sustainability and Technical Services for AHF Products and as Chairman of the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) Board. He also chairs ISO/TC 189, the international committee responsible for ceramic tile standards, and is a member of the NTCA Technical Committee.

Throughout his career, Chitty has played an important role in advancing tile standards, education, installation practices, and technical knowledge. He was instrumental in the development of product and installation standards for gauged porcelain tile panels and has been a passionate advocate for education and training as new tile products and installation technologies have emerged.

Yet his influence extends well beyond standards and technical expertise.

“Noah has always understood that this industry is ultimately about people,” Bettiga said. “He has an incredible ability to bring people together. He builds relationships based on trust and respect, and those relationships have strengthened our entire industry.”

Whether at an industry event, standards meeting, training session, or simply answering a question from someone who needed help, Chitty has consistently made himself available.

“He doesn’t do things for recognition,” Bettiga added. “That’s one of the reasons this honor means so much. Noah has spent decades quietly doing the work, sharing what he knows, helping solve problems, mentoring others and looking for ways to make tile installation better. He has made a difference in ways that he probably doesn’t even realize.”

For NTCA, recognizing Chitty with the Ring of Honor is a celebration of both his professional accomplishments and the character he has demonstrated throughout his career.

“Knowledge is important, but how you use that knowledge is what really matters,” Bettiga said. “Noah has used his knowledge to help others, to advance our industry, and to create opportunities for the next generation. He has made the tile industry better, and more importantly, he has made it better for the people who work in it. We are honored to call him a friend, a colleague, and a member of the NTCA family.”

Chitty will be formally recognized as the 2026 NTCA Ring of Honor recipient at Tile Solutions Plus in Miami, Fla., on Monday, November 2.
