Florida Tile’s new Threadscape collection reimagines the artistry of textiles through the innovative medium of porcelain. Tressa Samdal, Director of Marketing and Product, noted the overwhelming response received during its preview at Coverings 2026.
“It has quickly become a favorite among industry influencers and has been featured in trend photos across leading tile magazines,” she said.

Threadscape is more than just a tile collection; it’s a celebration of the profound relationship between textiles and our everyday lives. Each tile captures the unique attributes reminiscent of handmade materials, offering a tactile experience that balances softness with structural integrity.
The collection features a stunning array of field tiles available in both solid colors and sophisticated plaids. Threadscape is offered in three formats: 3.75″ x12”, 12” x 24”, and 24” x 48”, providing flexibility for various design applications. Additionally, it includes two mosaic styles—an offset basketweave and a semi-oval—along with three trim pieces: bullnose, cove base, and cove base corner. This variety allows designers and homeowners alike to create spaces that reflect individuality and style.
“Threadscape is a perfect example of how Florida Tile continues to lead the conversation around design,” Samdal said. “We look beyond the tile industry for inspiration, drawing from fashion, interiors, and architecture to create collections that not only capture today’s trends but remain relevant for years to come. That’s the difference between following trends and defining them.”
