Graziano Verdi is elected the new President of the European Ceramic Federation (CET) through 2027

Graziano Verdi, Vice President of Confindustria Ceramica and CEO of Italcer Group, has been elected President of the CET – European Ceramic Tile Manufacturers Federation – for the next three years.

The election was announced today in Brussels, where the “European Ceramic Days 2024” are taking place (from December 2 to 4), with hundreds of industry professionals, technicians, commissioners, and MEPs, also in the context of the European Parliament Ceramic Forum (EPCF), discussing the upcoming mandate and the role the industry wants Europe to play in the international context.

Graziano Verdi, the new President of CET, commented: “It is with great honor and responsibility that I take on the role of President of the European Ceramic Federation. I would like to thank everyone for the trust placed in me and for the commitment each of you shows every day in promoting our industry. Together, we will continue to support innovation and sustainability in a realistic way and drive the growth of the ceramic sector in Europe. I am convinced that, by working together with determination and passion, we will achieve even more ambitious goals, strengthening our role.”

Graziano Verdi, a top manager in the design and luxury sectors, was the long-time CEO and President of the Iris-Graniti Fiandre group. He then led Technogym and the Belgian multinational Koramic.

In 2017, together with Alberto Forchielli of the fund Mindful Capital Partners, he founded Italcer Group, now the fifth-largest Italian industrial group in the high-end ceramic sector. Italcer Group includes: La Fabbrica Ceramiche-AVA, Elios Ceramica, Devon&Devon, Ceramica Rondine, Equipe Cerámicas, Ceramica Fondovalle, and Terratinta Ceramiche, with a turnover of over 340 million euros in 2023 and 1,100 employees.

Verdi is an Independent Director at Pelliconi S.p.A., a global leader in bottle caps.
