Isla Tiles, ideas and ceramic quality in the limelight at Cersaie 2022

Eclectic ceramic surfaces for today’s interior design. The Rubiera-based company brings its new collections to the Bologna trade show: countless inspirations and the excellence of Made in Italy

Rubiera, September 26 2022 – A journey along ever-new routes on a quest for ideas and to unleash creativity: from designer wood to Nordic stone, from traditional Japanese carpets to ceramic rammed earth. Isla Tiles boasts manifold inspirations for the collections that will be presented at Cersaie 2022, the largest showcase in the sector, held in Bologna September 26-30, an opportunity to show the world the superior quality of Italian ceramic products.

In the spotlight, Oasis, a sophisticated collection featuring a harmoniously elegant interpretation of wood with a conceptual flavour, characterized by an exquisite texture of aligned veins reminiscent of pencil drawings, perfectly suited to contemporary design. Tatami means “folded and piled”, like the carpets used in homes and martial arts gyms in Japan, and is the name of the second collection brought to Cersaie by Isla Tiles, inspired by the natural softness of these floors, reinterpreted thanks to cutting-edge Italian ceramic technology.

At the Bologna trade show, Isla Tiles also presents B.Stone, an exquisite ceramic version of Belgian bluestone, renowned on account of its black colour with blue shades and its surface, which is characterized by subtle fossil intrusions that bestow personality to architectural environments. Experience other novelties at the stand of the Rubiera-based company, such as Quarzite and Terracruda: the first is a striking stone effect with shade variations, a modern porcelain stoneware rendering of the beauty and strength of mineral rocks; the second is an exquisite return to the basic elements of ceramic for surfaces that are soft to the touch, with velvety colours.
