If it’s summer time, it must be time again for the Tile Heritage Foundation (THF) Garden Planter Auction. This second annual online auction has a fundraising goal of $8,000, to benefit THF.
Garden planters (approximately 9″ x 7″ x 6″) were generously contributed by artisans around the country for the auction, created with artistry and craftsmanship on fiber-cement boxes donated by Campania International. One hundred percent of garden planter sales will support the Foundations’ ongoing tile history archiving project, a comprehensive online index capturing the History of Ceramic Tile in the United States from the 1870s to present day.
Sixteen tile artisans contributed their creativity to this project. They include:
