M S International, Inc. (MSI)’s new Casa Duet collection reimagines the iconic checkerboard pattern with modern style and versatility. With uniquely curated Calacatta marble-look patterns and colorways ranging from bold black-and-white pairings to warm, earthy natural tones, it offers a fresh interpretation of classic checkerboard aesthetics.
Both on-trend and timeless, Casa Duet delivers striking visual appeal while maintaining the enduring charm that has made checkerboard tile a staple in design for generations.
Each Casa Duet tile measures 24” x 24” and features a pre-scored surface that creates the appearance of smaller individual tiles, delivering the intricate look of traditional checkerboard layouts with simplified installation. Crafted from durable porcelain, the collection is waterproof, low-maintenance, and built to withstand the demands of both residential and commercial spaces.
Casa Duet features three distinct patterns:
- Calacatta Crema creates a soft, inviting feel with cream and beige tones.
- Calacatta Grigio takes on a modern, cool aesthetic with soothing gray and white hues.
- Calacatta Marquina embodies vintage glam with bold black and ivory tones.
“Casa Duet was designed to bring a fresh perspective to one of the most iconic tile patterns in interior design,” said MSI Vice President Paulo Pereira. “By pairing timeless checkerboard styling with modern color palettes and the durability of porcelain, we created a collection that feels both nostalgic and completely current.”
