Nemo Tile + Stone introduces Opus 2.0 Collection of concrete-style porcelain tiles

NEW YORK, NEW YORK — January 2021 — Nemo Tile + Stone, a New York City-based provider of top-performing surface materials, is excited to unveil its newest porcelain tile collection, Opus 2.0. Taking design and style cues from the first Opus collection, Opus 2.0 is a floor and wall line designed to highlight and resemble the nature of concrete. Building from the striking Opus collection, Opus 2.0 has all of the same uncanny characteristics of concrete yet is taken up a notch with the addition of eight new colorways and two additional textured style offerings.

Celebrating all the imperfect and raw characteristics of concrete, such as cracks, patinas, scratches, and weather, Opus 2.0 provides a natural, organic appeal for indoor and outdoor, residential, and commercial spaces. Opus 2.0 is available in five-sized square and rectangular tiles: 12”x24”, 24”x24”, 24”x48”, 36”x36”, and 48”x48”. The expansive collection is rendered in eight shades of warm and cool greys: Ash, Carbon, Clay, Flint, Graphite, Gravel, Salt, and Sand. Included in the collection are additional tile formats of a 2”x2” mosaic, pavers, and decorative wall tiles support both floor and vertical application needs.

The textured ‘Fault’ style features a linear three-dimensional surface available in 24”x48” tiles in all eight colorways. Offering visual and tactile texture, Fault adds depth and structure to any wall application, applied vertically or horizontally.

The ‘Mix’ pattern style is a digitally printed tile with intense visual movement. The style is available in 24”x48” tiles and comes in either a Warm or Cool hue combination.

“Opus 2.0 is a refined take on concrete in porcelain as it celebrates the imperfections that we see that naturally happens with concrete. We see the scratches and the patina that are apparent in concrete over time,” said Katie Michael-Battaglia, Design Director at Nemo Tile + Stone. “The Opus 2.0 collection can fit with many project spaces and types due to the neutrality of the material, but also with the array of tones and sizes available.”

The new collection is part of the evolution of Nemo Tile + Stone’s ever-growing product offerings. Setting the bar for innovation, Opus 2.0 further elevates the brand’s rich product portfolio and acts as a celebration of Nemo Tile + Stone’s growth over the past 100 years.
