Diamond goes beyond the concept of patterns to inhabit space itself. Diamond is first and foremost characterized by grout, the central factor in the decorative module. The grout creates a pattern that moves through the sheets of glass and guides the eye over algorithmic shapes. The Diamond mosaic is produced in bright, luminous, artistic glass, thinner than sanded glass.
Jointed: Beyond the traditional mosaic concept, beyond chip size and rigidly defined geometrical space, the range of Jointed takes a fresh approach, extending the material’s expressive potentials and the languages used to convey them. In Jointed, the 2×2” chip is engraved with a graphic motif providing the basis for different formats. The random composition of each of the subdivided chips transforms the simple surface into a complex array, varying depending on the way the sheets are installed.
Mist unveils new ways of reading a surface within its spatial dimension, enriched by an innovative sense of depth. The laws of visual perception and the pattern’s visual order are manipulated to give the surface a more seamless continuity through space. The tiles are made of rectangular float glass chips in three different sizes, mounted on glass fiber mesh. The sheets are engineered to be assembled through a thorough interlocking system of chips that results in an unending pattern.
Psaico is a collection of through-body porcelain suitable for indoor and outdoor floor and wall use – made from slabs of processed material, with different surface finishes. Every piece has an irregular surface, generating a three-dimensional tactile impression. As a system of texture, various sizes and colors, any floor or wall use is rendered truly individual.
Quilt is inspired by the age-old hand-crafted tradition, in which combined pieces create a unique geometrical pattern. The grout joints play the same role as decorative stitching in quilting. Quilt is a porcelain mosaic in which the modules can be installed uniformly, or a geometrical effect, or at random, an uneven layout that recalls antique Venetian Seminato pavings.
Sticks is a collection of through-body porcelain suitable for indoor and outdoor floor and wall use – made from slabs of processed material cut into various sizes, with different surface finishes. Every piece has an irregular surface, generating a three-dimensional tactile impression. As a system of texture, various sizes and colors, any floor or wall use is rendered truly individual.
