NTCA GPTP Regional Training coming to Fort Myers, Fla., on Thursday, March 3, 2022

On Thursday, March 3, Ceramic Tile Education Foundation’s Director of Certification and Training Scott Carothers — along with Adam Martin — will hold a NTCA MEMBERS ONLY Regional Training sponsored by Atlas Concorde and hosted by Design Works at 2461 N. Airport Rd., in Fort Myers, Fla. The free all-day training will focus on Standards-based Installation of Gauged Porcelain Tile Panels (GPTP) and Slabs.

With the demand for GPTP skyrocketing, this training can give you the grounding to install these panels with confidence and accuracy. This free training will teach you the new tile industry standards and methods for installing GPTP. You’ll also learn how GPTP is made, where it can be used and the special tools, setting materials and techniques required to install it.

This program will stress:

•Industry standards and methods relevant to the subject area
•Adherence to manufacturer instructions
•Substrate analysis and preparation
•Selection and installation materials such as mortars, membranes, grouts, sealants, drains and related setting materials
•Selection and use of tools including specialty tools
•Efficient work flow and teamwork
•Job site safety and health practices

For the best one-on-one learning for attendees, this Regional Training only accepts 20 people. Register today to be sure you have a place in this class. Contact Marco Tine at [email protected] or phone 239.936.7676 You can also register online here.
