Portobello America introduces Cristallo, a collection defined by light

Portobello America, the U.S. business unit of Portobello Grupo, introduces Cristallo, a new porcelain collection inspired by luminous quartzite and designed around the behavior of light. Translating fractured veining and crystalline depth into porcelain surfaces, the collection brings radiance, dimension, and refined clarity to contemporary interiors.

More than a surface pattern, Cristallo explores how light moves across material. Layered graphics, expressive reliefs, and carefully tuned finishes create surfaces that appear to hold light within the stone itself, offering a softer, more atmospheric interpretation of quartzite.

The collection is available in three finishes:

  • Matte for a calm, architectural look
  • Polished for maximum clarity and luminosity
  • Soft, a satin, silky-touch finish with controlled sheen

Cristallo also introduces Concavo, a sculpted relief made in the USA that transforms shadow into a design element, adding rhythm and dimensional presence to walls.

Available as a global collection, Cristallo comes in:

  • Bianco for luminous continuity
  • Oro for warmer depth and golden movement
  • Rose, offered as a special order in 48” x 48”

With integrated mosaics, multiple relief expressions, and a complete surface system approach, Cristallo gives designers the flexibility to create spaces defined by light, depth, and architectural sophistication.
