Swimming pools are no longer designed piece by piece, but as a complete system. Guided by this philosophy, Durstone has developed a comprehensive ceramic system that integrates pool linings, coping, outdoor paving, drainage solutions, and special pieces within a single architectural language, ensuring visual continuity and consistency throughout the project. Conceived to meet the needs of architects and designers, the system combines design, functionality, and technical solutions for every type of swimming pool.
Each pool presents different construction requirements. Skimmer, infinity, and overflow pools demand specific solutions for water management, coping, drainage, and transitions with surrounding paving. Durstone develops ceramic solutions tailored to each of these pool types, allowing all technical elements to be seamlessly integrated without compromising the project’s visual continuity.
A system that supports the project from start to finish

Durstone’s system includes a wide range of formats that make it possible to maintain the same material language from the inside of the pool to the surrounding outdoor spaces.
The range includes ceramic pool tiles in a 20cm x 20cm format alongside 60cm x 120cm, 90cm x 90cm, 120cm x 120cm, and large-format 120cm x 280cm porcelain slabs, as well as 20mm-thick outdoor porcelain pavers. The system is completed with a straight extruded step measuring 33cm x 120cm x 3cm—a technical piece specifically developed to solve coping, level changes, and transitions while providing outstanding strength and dimensional stability.
The lineup also features an extensive catalog of special pieces that ensures precise installation and visual continuity in every detail.
Water is designed too

The color of the water depends not only on the sky or the pool’s depth, but also on the ceramic finish selected. Light shades create bright, crystal-clear water; sand and earth tones produce a warmer, more natural appearance; while greens, greys, and blues enhance the sense of depth and evoke Mediterranean or tropical landscapes.
Thanks to Durstone’s wide variety of collections, colors, and finishes, architects and designers can adapt the appearance of the water to the language of each project, using ceramic surfaces as a design tool capable of transforming the atmosphere of the pool and its relationship with both architecture and landscape.
Solutions that expand design possibilities

Durstone also offers solutions that broaden the project’s compositional possibilities. Among them is Roda, a circular piece measuring 60cm x 60cm x 2cm designed for installation over concrete, grass, or gravel, making it possible to create pathways, walkways, and transition areas with a more organic geometry. It provides a distinctive design resource for integrating gardens, terraces, and pool areas within the same architectural language.
The system is completed by the Lineal, Slot, and Mara ceramic drainage grates, designed to be finished in the same material as the paving, allowing drainage to be resolved with maximum discretion. In this way, even technical elements contribute to maintaining the project’s visual continuity, demonstrating that the quality of a swimming pool depends not only on the materials used, but also on how every detail is integrated into the overall architectural design.
