Arizona Tile celebrates opening of new location in Boise, Idaho area

In December 2022, Arizona Tile opened the doors of its newest branch located in the Boise suburb of Meridian, Idaho. Located within a high-quality business park, Meridian is a hub in the Remodeling/Home Improvement Industry. This allows for convenience for both customers and consumers as well as enables Arizona Tile to be where the action is on a daily basis.

Designed to enhance the customer experience as well as fulfill operational goals the new location includes a state-of-the-art showroom as well as a quartz and natural stone slab viewing area. The viewing area even features high-quality, color-corrected lighting to aid customers when making their selections.

Inspiration can be found perusing the wide variety of installation examples throughout the showroom as well as visualizing different product selections in their home by us of Visualizer on the on-site touch-screen. And of course the knowledgeable and friendly staff of tile and stone experts are there to help with any questions.

The new location is managed by Larry Hibbert. Larry has 22 years of industry experience, all of which is in the Boise market. Larry also has a strong background in management with some impressive roles on his resume, including Branch Manager and Regional Manager with established tile companies and head of the remodel division of a construction company.
Having worked with Arizona Tile’s VP of the Pacific Northwest, Jack Bramson for many years, when an opportunity presented itself for a manager at the new Boise location, Jack reached out to Larry to fill the position. Given Larry’s knowledge of the Boise market in this industry, he was able to provide some insight on the new location, and how its presence stacks up against the competition.

How does our new location differ from our competitors in the area? Our brand new 45,000 square foot showroom, stone gallery, and warehouse was designed and laid out with our customers in mind. The layout is open, inviting and very well lit. You are able to see the entire showroom as you enter from outside without tall/overwhelming showroom displays. Our lighting system is designed to offer the optimum color portrayal and interpretation.

Our Indoor slab yard is climate-controlled and comfortable to walk through. Fourteen viewing walls and all stone products are shown face-out for easy viewing. All of the vignettes and installed displays are labeled, including grout colors, to help with ease of identification. Our highly experienced staff is focused on providing the ultimate customer experience. And of course, candy treats are always waiting for you as you enter the facility.

What about Arizona Tile as a company makes us unique in Boise? Exceptional customer service. Having been in business 45 plus years, we have developed a ‘customer centric’ model. Our dedicated and knowledgeable team is committed to assisting our customers to achieve their selection and design process all the way though to project completion. We also make sure to provide enough personnel for the customer experience to be a positive one.

What types of materials do you anticipate will do best in this market? Our exclusive broad product offering consisting of porcelain and ceramic tiles, our Della Terra® Quartz brand as well as Natural Stone selections, all of which are sourced from all over the globe, will be popular with Idaho customers. Although Quartz makes up the lion’s share of our sales currently, we are seeing stone sales picking up dramatically. Our showroom and slab yard have become a destination for many of our customers to send their customers to. Our traffic in the slab yard has been brisk. We also are seeing a lot of activity with our design staff in the tile showroom.

Is there anything the Boise Tea m is doing at the local level to drive traffic to the showroom? We are actively inviting our customers to send in their customers and many are doing that, both for tile and slab. We have also started reaching out to designers and are seeing an increase in that type of traffic as well.

What would you like everyone to know about your select group of employees? They are all very committed to providing great customer service. Collectively we have over 150 years of industry experience. Larry concludes by adding how excited he is to be a part of the Arizona Tile Family. “I’m loving this company and the people I work with and am having a lot of fun growing in the slab [and tile] business.”
