QEP mourns the passing of longtime employee Jason Badr

Jason Badr, who spent the last nearly 30 years as a sales manager for QEP, has passed away at the age of 55.

“It is with very heavy and broken hearts that we share the passing of Jason Badr,” the company said in a statement. “Today, we have lost an incredible professional, but more importantly, we have lost a great man and friend. Jason was truly bigger than life itself—always smiling, always positive, and carrying an energy that lifted everyone around him. His charismatic personality, laughter and kindness touched every person he met, whether a longtime colleague, a customer, or a new friend. He had a rare gift for bringing people together and making them feel valued.

“He represented the very best of who we strive to be: committed, authentic, and deeply connected to the people around him. His presence will be profoundly missed across our industry and by all of us at QEP who had the privilege of working beside him.”

Badr made a lasting impact in the industry through his passion, leadership, and the relationships he built along the way.

“For decades, my friend Jason Badr has represented QEP Roberts with class and pride,” said Len Gould, CEO of QEP.  “His passion for his customers, his teammates, and the products themselves was as genuine as his good heart. All of us are stunned and terribly sad right now. On behalf of the entire QEP family, our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with Jason’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

“His legacy, his spirit, his laugh, and the joy he brought to others will never be forgotten.”
