New porcelain line offers a pop of personality with mix-and-match patterns in a graphic black-and-white format.
LOS ANGELES – Walker Zanger, North America’s leading stone and tile design resource, announces the launch of a new porcelain tile collection, Pop Culture.
The innovative tile series features 8×8 matte porcelain tile in a bold and graphic black-and-white format that references the Pop Art movement. Pop Culture includes a variety of playful geometric patterns, solids and mosaics, inspiring design professionals and style-savvy homeowners to form their own mix-and-match creations.
“One of the movements gaining a lot of traction in the design world right now is personalization, and a growing focus on expressing one’s personal interior design style as opposed to following trends or what’s mainstream,” said Suzi Portugal, Vice President of Design and Sourcing for Walker Zanger. “We wanted to push the design envelope and give our clients a chance to express themselves creatively in one of the most classic and accessible color motifs of all time: black and white. Pop Culture is available in 10 coordinating tiles: four (4) black and white geometric patterns, two (2) solids, and four (4) recycled glass mosaics (including two patterns in a black matte/gloss mix and two in a white matte/gloss mix) — all of which can be simply turned and flipped to create an entirely new pattern. “The mix-and-match combinations really give new home owners, commercial architects and designers who are confident in their design the freedom to go for bold and make a personal statement,” added Stulpin.
Pop Culture is suitable for a variety of aesthetics, projects and budgets, and can be applied to floors, walls, wet areas, exterior or even the pool (glass mosaic).
