Visitors to this year’s Cersaie, to be held in Bologna from 26 to 30 September 2022, will once again be eligible for discounted travel on high-speed trains, making it easier for them to get to Bologna and the city’s Exhibition Centre during the five days of the event. Discounts will be available on second-class same-day return tickets to Bologna from Turin, Milan, Florence, Rome, Naples, Venice, Padua and Ancona on services operated by Trenitalia and Italo, while a dedicated bus service coinciding with the train arrival and departure times will be provided to shuttle visitors between the Bologna railway station and the Exhibition Centre. Visitors traveling on high-speed trains from all Italian cities will enjoy a 30% discount on first and second class fares on services operated by Trenitalia and a 40% discount on first class fares for travel with Italo. A series of hotel + train packages are also available, consisting of accommodation in 3-4 star hotels in Ferrara, Rimini, Padua, Verona, Venice or Florence and train travel to and from Bologna. A charter train will also run from Reggio Emilia directly to the Bologna Exhibition Centre’s railway station with intermediate stops in Rubiera and Modena.
