Saxum is a new porcelain tile collection that puts a modern spin on the primitive identity and sensual beauty of stone. These modern tiles combine the ancient beauty of stone with the impressive qualities of porcelain stoneware for a versatile collection that highlights the pleasing texture of the material of inspiration.
Random veining, delicate earthy and sandy shades with a modern, natural design blend with the imperfections left by the passage of time, revealing all the charm of a material that has accompanied humankind through the ages.
Saxum comes in five colors (Antracite, Beige, Bianco, Grigio and Perla), with a thickness of 9 mm in the 120cm x 120cm and 60cm x 120cm formats, and is available with an R10 natural surface, or a silk surface for a pleasant, aged effect. In the 60cm x 60cm and 30cm x 60cm formats, it is available in a natural finish.
Every color in the 60cm x 120cm and 60cm x 60cm formats is also available in an outdoor version with a thickness of 20 mm and an anti-slip Grip surface. In the Beige and Perla colors, a 120cm x 120cm outdoor version is also available.
The range is completed with the 30cm x 30cm mosaic tiles, composed of 5cm x 5cm or 5cm x 15cm tesserae, and a tumbled mosaic tile, available with a natural surface in all the colors in the collection.
A combination of superb technical performance and the 20mm-thick anti-slip option for outdoor areas make the tiles in the new Saxum collection both stylish and versatile. They can be either laid on screed using glue, ensuring high load resistance, or dry-laid on sand, gravel, or turf. In this case, they can be walked on immediately, allowing you to create attractive spaces with a smooth transition from indoor to outdoor areas.
The stoneware tiles in the Saxum collection are perfectly squared and rectified, making them the ideal flooring choice also for terraces, patios, verandas and walkways, as well as for tiling swimming pools, and are suitable for all kinds of climates and settings. Versatile, adaptable and with superb performance, the tiles in this new Casalgrande Padana collection can also be used in endless creative ways to tile walls, partitions, worktops and bathrooms, for a home spa look featuring walk-in showers or bathtubs that look as if they were carved from natural stone.

Composed of natural raw materials, fully recyclable, inert, fire-resistant and non-allergenic, Casalgrande Padana porcelain tiles maintain their appearance and performance over time. They have excellent bending strength and ability to stand up to frost and wear and tear.
