Casalgrande Padana: what’s new?
The charm of stone and the strength of porcelain stoneware: introducing Era
The Era collection is the latest addition to Casalgrande Padana’s range of stone-effect porcelain stoneware tiles, resulting from continuous aesthetic research and advanced technologies. These modern tiles combine stone’s natural charm and porcelain stoneware’s excellent technical features, elevating their application potential. Irregular veining, delicate cloud-like effects, soft shades, and play of light and shadow emphasise these tiles’ colour and pleasant tactile quality. The Era collection comes in six colours (Era Bianca, Bruna, Crema, Grigia, Perla, and Pepe), various formats, and two thicknesses (the standard 9mm and 20 mm for the outdoor version). The 30×60 cm, 60×60 cm, and 60×120 cm formats feature a natural or anti-slip Grip finish, whereas the 120×120 cm format has a natural finish. All these features make Era tiles perfect for colour-coordinated projects with visual continuity between interiors and exteriors.
Fusion: the metal-effect collection for industrial chic spaces
The new Fusion collection replicates the colours of metal and the effects of oxidation, creating stunning shades and finishes. Fusion tiles stand out for the typical shine of oxidised metal. They come in six colours (Black, Copper, Graphite, Green, Grey, and White), with a natural finish, and in various formats and thicknesses. The 60×60 cm, 60×120 cm, and 120×120 cm formats are 9 mm thick, whereas the 120×278 cm format is 6 mm thick.
Iridescent accents, fascinating metal effects, and porcelain stoneware’s outstanding technical features allow these tiles to be used on the floors and walls of any domestic space. However, they are also perfect for tiling furnishings, countertops, partition walls, and accent walls. In addition, fusion tiles have a fantastic visual impact. As a result, they are ideal for anyone who wants to experiment with a minimalist interior design style full of charm and character. For example, they are perfect for open-plan living rooms and metropolitan or industrial chic New York-style lofts.
The tiles with the natural shine of salt crystals: introducing Supreme
Supreme is Casalgrande Padana’s new tile collection replicating rock salt crystals’ colours, texture, and shine. The natural masterpieces created by sedimentary rocks around the world have inspired the new Supreme porcelain stoneware tile collection. A fascinating journey to the centre of the earth to discover the colours and tactile features of rock crystal, an element known since ancient times for its many benefits. Desaturated veining, harmonious crystal lattices, delicate transparencies, and refined details come together in an elegant palette. The colours range from light shades of the prestigious Fleur de Sel from the Algarve, Portugal, to the greys of Grey Brittany Salt and the black of the Kala Namak South Asian salt rock. Supreme tiles come in four colours (Grey, Dark, Sand, and Taupe) and various formats and finishes. More in detail, the 30×60 cm format is 9 mm thick and features a natural or an anti-slip Grip finish. The 60×60 cm, 60×120 cm, and 120×120 cm formats come with a natural or polished finish. Finally, the 120×278 cm format is 6 mm thick and has a natural or polished finish, which further emphasises its beauty.
Timeless porcelain stoneware tiles: a modern classic
The past and the future merge to create Timeless, the new collection that gives a modern twist to full-body porcelain stoneware, the material that has made Casalgrande Padana’s history. Neutral shades, delicate light accents, cloud-like effects, tactile evenness, and concrete’s typical trowel effect are the main features of this collection. Timeless tiles come in five colours (Charcoal, Ice, Seal, Taupe, and Thunder), three formats (30×60 cm, 60×60 cm, and 60×120 cm), two thicknesses (9.4 mm and 14 mm), and three finishes (natural, polished, and bushhammered).
Timeless tiles have a consistent surface and body structure as the colour runs throughout the tile. So, for example, if you removed the superficial layer, you’d discover an identical surface underneath without affecting the tiles’ beauty and functionality. Moreover, these tiles withstand significant static and dynamic loads, foot traffic, and continuous vibrations. In addition, Timeless tiles are not affected by moisture, frost, fire, or abnormal temperature fluctuations. As a result, they’re ideal for commercial, industrial, and public places, such as airports, shopping centres, workshops, hospitals, schools, showrooms, stations, supermarkets, offices, and food preparation, chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories. Plus, the anti-slip finish makes the floors safer.
