Dazed and Glazed creates marigold tiles as homage to Claude Monet

This summer a new collection of tiles is growing — at the Dazed and Glazed tile studios in Portland, Ore. Tile maker Brett Stern is cultivating a “garden” full of vibrant marigold tiles in orange, yellow and red hues, his homage to Claude Monet.

Stern creates his tiles by fusing a thin veneer of glass onto a ceramic tile surface. Each tile pattern is individually designed and hand made. These beautiful tiles can enhance a private home or be a stunning and enduring interior adornment for public spaces as well — airports, hotels, schools, offices, healthcare setting, and buildings of all kinds. These works of art are UV and water resistant, durable and low maintenance. The 6″ x 6″ tiles are installed in 30″ x 30″ board, using standard ceramic tile mounting methods.
